FY-Composites has nearly 30 years of experience in manufacturing composite ballistic helmets for military and law enforcement. Our helmets have been developed in close cooperation with the Finnish Defence Force since the early 1990´ s. Our products’ reliability and performance have been proven during decades of operational use by one of the biggest land forces in the World.
Head gear design and composite processing is our core business. Our close cooperation with our customers during development allows us to customize, design and find solutions for specific needs. Our design and project team has over 100 years of combined experience and are up to the challenge of fulfilling specific requirements.
The key consideration in specifying the right ballistic material is to define the threat and other requirements. Polyethylene based advanced ballistic materials offer the ultimate balance in terms of weight and ballistic protection. FY-Composites is at the forefront of utilizing materials research and cutting-edge manufacturing processes in ballistic helmet production.
Our latest helmet provides operators with the best balance of protection, comfort, features and overall weight. Our focus on end user adjustments and reducing the total load has resulted in enhanced operational capacity and reduced stress from extended use. Our helmet system is compatible with various aftermarket helmet mounted accessories.
